Interrail Packing List

The following is a list of items we took on our trip. While it is supposed to help you prepare for your own trip, it is by no means the perfect list for everybody. Add or subtract items according to your own lifestyle and needs.

My List

1 pair of pants, 1 sweater, 4 T-shirts, 8 pairs of socks, 8 boxer shorts, 2 pairs of shorts, 1 pair of shoes, 1 raincoat (foldable, thin, and light), 8 plastic bags (you’ll need many), 1 soap, 1 shampoo, 1 tooth brush, 1 tooth paste, 1 razor, 1 shaving Cream, 1 “Beauty-Set” (contains nail clippers etc.), 1 pair of beach shoes, 2 copies of passport (keep separately), 1 plastic string, 1 duct tape, 1 bandage, 2 spare batteries for the flash light, salt, seasoning, 2 lighters, 4 small candles, 1 detergent (in a small tube), 1 small lock (should fit your tent or backpack zipper), 1 small cloth (to do the dishes), 1 big cloth (to dry up the dishes), 1 teaspoon, 1 fork, 1 knife, 1 plastic mug, 1 plastic plate, 6 rubber bands, 1 towel, 1 bathing pants, 1 huge backpack (with all these things inside), 1 sleeping bag, 1 foam mattress, pen, paper, etc., 1 drinking bottle, 1 student ID, 1 passport, 1 small stove with a cartridge, 1 small book, 1 small dictionary (for multiple languages), 2 rolls of toilet paper, 4 packs of Kleenex, 1 map of Europe, 1 travel guide for Italy, 1 CD of my band (hey, you never know), 1 salami (for emergencies), 1 trainticket (Interrail, Eurail, whatever), 1 small wallet for change, 3 pot scrubbers, 1 pair of ear plugs, 1 chocolate bar, 2 tank tops, 1 thin hip bag with the following items: 1 plastic slip to protect from sweat, money (bills), 2 EC-Cheques, 1 International Hostelling membership card, 1 EC-Card
