Fort Dauphin - Tuléar, Day Four

Last day: 158km in 5 hours! Thus, our speed almost never exceeded 30km/h. Early in the day, we hit the national highway which we stayed on until the end. Why are national highways so much worse than any other road? Also, I wonder what the bread and the cookies in my stomach were doing while I hopped up and down in the car.

Let’s summarize. Time to travel from one city to the next big city: 4 days. Time spent in the car during the trip: 25 hours. Distance travelled: 844km. Experience gained: priceless.
